Local SEO for Spanish Queries: Google Business Profile, “cerca de mí”, NAP
How map-pack ranking works in Spain and LatAm — Google Business in Spanish, NAP formats that differ by country, and a site that does not contradict the profile.

Do you win “near me” with the website or the Google profile?
Both — and the profile does more than US SEO blogs admit. Spanish queries are “cerca de mí”, “en [city]”, “open now”. If the profile name and the site name disagree, the map owes you nothing.
NAP is a street-format problem
Spain, Mexico and Colombia do not write addresses the same way. Pick one string. A plugin that reprints another format is drag.
Reviews in the customer’s language
English reviews on a Murcia or Monterrey shop are noise. Ask in Spanish. Reply in Spanish. Review farms can kill the profile.
A “30-day map pack” promise that never touches the profile is selling a miracle.
Frequently asked questions
How long?
Weeks if the profile is wrong; months if the area is contested.
Several locations?
One profile and one location page each.
Apple Maps / Waze?
Google eats most “cerca de mí”. Clean that first.
GBP posts?
Useful for hours and offers. They do not replace reviews.
English profile?
Use the customer’s language. English in Guadalajara is not “international”. It is a miss.
